The sixth edition of Business in Context follows the same style and structure of the previous edition and has been updated throughout. The international content has been increased to better reflect the global nature of this topic and coverage of subjects such as the global financial crisis, sustainability and ethics has been improved. Taking a broad approach, this edition will be invaluable for students studying introductory business courses from undergraduate to MBA level. More emphasis given to sustainability, ethics and social media, which are key topics for any undergraduate business course. An additional focus on BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) will be brought in to this edition to highlight the growing power of these nations. Where necessary, chapters have been restructured and signposting has been improved for ease of use and comprehension. Provides a general introduction to the subject of business, rather than following (for example) the PESTLE approach, therefore broadening the appeal to various types of business courses. Case studies of real companies are inserted throughout the chapters and bring a real world context to the theory. Reflection points throughout the chapter encourage students to stop and think about what they have learned and can be used as a useful discussion point in group work. Discussion questions at the end of each chapter allow students to test their knowledge.
